Extravaganza (Spring and Fall)

May 18–20, 2012 at Wild River State Park

Want a glimpse of what it's like to be on a Rovers trip? This event takes place twice a year and will enable everyone and anyone to try various activities as well as partake in our Saturday night dinner at the campfire. Activities include hiking, biking, rock climbing, paddling, delicious food, and an option of camping overnight. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome.

Trail Clearing on the Border Route Trail (Spring and Fall)

If you’d like to get into the woods and have fun while really making a worthwhile contribution, this is the trip for you. You will be able to do something totally different from your normal weekday life and feel good about making a positive contribution to recreation in Minnesota. Gear Swap

The next gear swap will be May 2012. Check back for exact date! In the meantime, check out the Gear For Sale page of our website.

Twice a year the Rovers host a gear swap at one of their regular Tuesday night meetings. Anyone who has any type of gear that they are no longer using can bring it to the swap and either sell it out right, or make a trade with someone else. The gear is in good shape, and usually the owners have simply chosen to upgrade or no longer have a need for that particular piece of equipment. It is a great way to get your hands on some gear if you just want to try it out without having to make a huge investment in brand new equipment. And as always, it’s a lot of fun.
